How to brew your perfect cup
Tea leaves + hot water + time = tea.
That’s it! No tricks, no stress. Just delicious, health-boosting tea in a matter of minutes.
At Wild Harvest Honey Farm, we believe the best tea experience comes from using quality ingredients. If you’ve never tried whole-leaf tea, you’re in for a treat! Unlike the dust and fannings found in most commercial tea bags, whole-leaf tea offers unparalleled flavor and health benefits. Our customers often tell us how life-changing their first sip of fresh, infused goodness is—and we can’t wait for you to experience it too!
01
Water is key
Since water makes up 99.66% of your tea, it’s crucial to start with fresh, cold water. Use filtered or purified water if your tap water doesn’t taste great. Avoid distilled water, as it can make your tea taste flat.
02
Temperature, Timing, and Proportions Matter
Making tea is like baking; attention to detail ensures the best results. Start with 2 rounded teaspoons of tea leaves per 12-16 oz of water, or 1 sachet for the same amount. Adjust based on your taste preferences.
If you’re looking for antioxidant benefits, there’s no need to over-steep. Polyphenols infuse quickly, so you can avoid bitterness while still enjoying all the health perks.
03
Give Your Tea Room to Breathe
A good infuser makes all the difference. Tea leaves need space to expand and release their full flavor. If they’re cramped, your tea won’t reach its full potential.
04
Personalize Your Tea
Your perfect cup is just that—yours! Start with our recommended guidelines and tweak as you go. Whether you prefer it light or bold, hot or iced, your ideal tea is just a few experiments away.
Re-Steep for More Goodness
Many whole-leaf teas, like green, white, and oolong, can be re-steeped for a second cup. They’ll still deliver plenty of flavor. Note: Black and herbal teas generally don’t re-steep as well.
Fresh is Best
For maximum flavor and health benefits, drink your tea within 24 hours of brewing.
Believe in Yourself
Brewing tea is simple and rewarding. With practice, you’ll be making perfect, flavorful cups in no time—your daily tea ritual can be as quick and fulfilling as you want it to be.
Enjoy every sip, and let tea bring a little more joy and wellness to your day!
