Meet Our Founders

At the heart of Wild Harvest Honey Farm is a story as rich and golden as the honey in our jars—a story woven through generations, beginning with a man named Everett Boring, who first brought bees to our family. What started as a humble effort to support the homestead grew into a tradition of beekeeping, craftsmanship, and love for nature that has lasted for generations.

Everett and his wife Orinda laid the foundation of what would become a deeply rooted family legacy. Their son Ernest Boring and his beloved wife Dorothy carried on the work with care and dedication, instilling in their children a respect for hard work, honeybees, and heritage.

My parents, Robert and Jackie, continue to tend to the land and the rhythm of farm life. I’m Amber Boring-Rutledge, the fourth generation to walk these fields. I’ve had the joy of raising my sons, Jack and Edwin, here on the same soil where their great-great-grandfather once tended hives.

Our honey pairs beautifully with a treasured family bread recipe that has been passed down for over 300 years—a recipe that, much like our bees, has nourished and sweetened our lives for centuries.

This farm is more than just a business. It's our story. Our sanctuary. And now, we invite you to become a part of it.

When you visit Wild Harvest Honey Farm, we hope you feel not just welcomed, but at home—surrounded by nature, history, and the gentle buzz of something truly magical.
